The galleries are a little better, coming in at an average of 100 higher-moderate resolution shots each, and available in convenient Zip archives for downloading.

However, the downsides of the library are not matched by the site. The interface itself is very easy on the eyes, with a clean and sleek design which happens to be properly mobile-responsive. That should be expected these days, of course. Features are actually very solid. Expect to find an advanced search alongside comments, ratings, favorites, tags, sorting options, and even a pretty good model index. That’s all of the primary tools that make it easy to find whatever you want even in a much larger site.

I think that Legs Japan does pretty well within some unfortunate constraints, well enough to earn a score in the lower end of ‘great’ sites. Those constraints do include the resolutions still not reaching the modern standard, but also the update schedule only being pretty much standard – many sites do better – and also the short run-times. On the other hand, features, production values, a popular niche, these are all absolutely here and the site clearly deserves credit for them. That’s why I’m awarding Legs Japan with a score of 83 full points, alongside my recommendation to fans of the niche. I doubt such fans would regret buying in to a subscription here.
