Velvet Mag, though you might be confused from the somewhat less-than-clear name, is a hardcore site that used to be a print magazine, as you might have already guessed. Some of you might even remember it’s pedigree from before the digital age of porn. This Swank Pass network site has all of the solid production values that certainly seem to be shared by all the sites along the network, but really it’s the content itself with the gorgeous babes, and the hardcore sex, that you’re here for, isn’t it? We’ll get to the benefits that the network brings, but first let’s examine the site’s own library, as we always do.
Longer Runtimes, SD Resolutions, Over 550 Videos, Variable Updates
As of the time of writing for this review, Velvet Mag can lay claim to 572+ videos alongside 1,320+ galleries. Unfortunately, those numbers may well stay the same, or nearly so, for some time, as the update schedule has slipped into the state that I often call, quite politely, ‘variable.’ This is of course quite unfortunate. Meanwhile, though, the videos average a run-time of 25 full minutes each, which is pretty generous, and both download or stream in the unfortunately obsolete, SD resolution of 480p. The galleries include an average of only 30 lower-moderate resolution shots each, but are available in convenient Zip archives for easy downloading.
Full Network Access, Solid Features, Mobile-Responsive Site Design
I did mention above that we’d get to the network benefits later on in the review, and as you might well expect, later just so happens to be now. Today I’ve brought you a closer look at yet another Swank Pass network site, and Velvet Mag definitely plays true to type, falling in line with many of it’s sibling sites along the network. It does this on both the bad, including that unfortunate library, updates, resolution, trifecta, that I have found disappointing on a number of these sites within the network, and on the good, with the features, network access, and site design, that this network does so very well with. That’s why Velvet Mag gains a score in the middle range of ‘good’ porn sites, and why I’m awarding it with a score of 77 full points. It also gains my recommendation for all fans of porn starring true babes.
