Hitzefrei review

For a porn site, Hitzefrei has an oddly domestic name. I don’t mean that you should be familiar with the word, but rather the concept it describes: a day off work because of a heatwave. It’s rather simple for a German compound word, containing only the words ‘free’ and ‘heat’, but I think it gets the point across fairly well. And with eight different sites under this one network banner, you may well need some hitzefrei days in order to take full advantage of the Hitzefrei network itself. Here, you’ll get plenty of rough sex, and plenty of anal across a variety of taboo and reality niches. That said, I think it’s time for us to dive into the individual sites, and what each is about.

Eight Different Taboo & Reality Sites to Enjoy

Of the Hitzefrei sites, City Check definitely stuck out to me. These are reality hookup scenes – not amateur, though – with lots of fairly public seeming sex. Fuck On Arrival is another in a similar vein, being about couples meeting through the now-gone Hitzefrei dating site, and hooking up “on arrival.” Meanwhile, Patti’s Anal is all about Texas Patti. Yes, she’s German, and a lovely MILF who apparently loves anal of all sorts, including DPs and strap-ons with other babes. FANALarm is all about anal, too, with a good variety of babes. Meanwhile, Family Affairs has it right in the name, so you know you can expect plenty of fauxcest on this one. And of course, they’ve got a lovely MILF-focus site in MILF Hunters, too, but this one is also pretty pick up focused. On top of that, there’s also Cuff Em All, which sounds kinky, but really is more about random pick ups as well.

Small Library, No Updates, & Low Resolutions

Unfortunately, here in the library section is where I personally think that the Hitzefrei offer really starts to show some cracks. As of the time of writing for this review, the network library contains around 384 individual videos. Updates seem to have stopped a few months ago, too, in June of 2024. The videos last an average of 30 full minutes of run-time each, and they are only available to stream in up to 720p HD Ready resolution. That’s sadly two full steps behind the modern standard of 4K, and it’s pretty noticeable on many modern displays. Beyond the videos, there are also galleries. These include, on average, 50 moderate-resolution shots each. They’re also available in Zip archives, which is always nice to see. The real issue here is the lack of updates. I hope Hitzefrei returns to updating, and we’ll certainly be watching. However, until it does, this is a major mark against it. After all, updates are always the lifeblood on any porn site, as I’ve said many times in these reviews. On top of that, and it’s not clear when exactly, but the option to download the videos does seem to have been removed.

Fairly Good Features & Modern Site

So, to move away from the library as we get to the last segment of the offer, let’s talk about the site and features. I was pleasantly surprised, first off, to see an advanced search implemented here, and that definitely gives points to Hitzefrei, On top of that, you should expect a very nice model index with stats, bios, sorting options, and favorites. That favorites system also applies to the regular content, plus there are ratings, sorting options, and a nice site navigation drop-down, too. Overall, I found it easy and intuitive to navigate around Hitzefrei during my time with the network.
