Digital Playground review

Digital Playground is, flat out, one of the best and biggest producers of purely reality hardcore that’s operating online today. Is that enough reason to rush out and grab your membership instead of reading the rest of this review? Of course not – let’s fill you in on all the details before you make your decision, not just the bird’s eye view. Trust me – you’ll feel better about it and have made a better decision because of it. And it costs you nothing except a few moments of your time, too.

DP may offer a playground in their name, but it’s a playground for adults, which makes things infinitely more interesting, and offers many more opportunities for missteps. There aren’t any monkey bars here, but there are other things which you’re unlikely to grow out of.

Perfection In Many Places, and So Much Content

As usual, we’ll start with the library. There are over three thousand individual scenes here. This is a combination of the DVDs, the DP original scenes, and BTS scenes, but you get access to all of these with your membership. Many are in proper HD – though DP seems to call it “TruLife HD” as yet another of those silly marketing terms. Streaming is dead simple, and just works without worries about configuration or compatible – save the normal concern of being sure that your internet is up to the task, of course. I had no trouble whatsoever enjoying the content, and I’m sure that if you enjoy ranging-theme hardcore reality porn, you will too. Perhaps we should borrow a term from agriculture, and call theme non-specific hardcore ‘freerange’? Updates come often, and in fact months where updates come more than five times are not uncommon in the least. Galleries here are also pretty good. Not all the clips have them, but most do, to the tune of about four thousand of these archives, and they tend to over two hundred individual photos at a very decent high resolution.

The site itself is well designed and has plenty of features. There’s a useful model index, sorting, advanced search, and other browsing features. While we’ll touch on the pagination a bit later, the advanced search does make it rather a moot point. I’m always very glad to see a porn site that’s willing to do the work to ensure

Downloads Cost Extra?

So what’s not good, then? Well, pagination is insufficient for a library of this size, but that’s almost expected now. It’s also mitigated a lot by other site features, like advanced search – always a wonderful thing to see on any porn site. The trial should, as is the case seemingly more often than not, be avoided, but since you have reviews like this one to help you out, that shouldn’t bug you much. The bigger drawback here, though, is that downloading requires a higher membership tier, and therefore more cost. I never like to see this, and neither should you, whether you choose to download or not. A porn site ought to trust it’s users to be respectful of the property that they’ve paid for, not assume they will spread the content – because rainy days happen and having a purely personal stash is never a bad thing.

At the end of the day, however, none of these concerns separately or together are truly to a level that I’d call ‘concerning’. One is annoying, another is a common trifle, and the third is wholly mitigated by other positives. So don’t take it aas too harsh – instead read on to the rating!
